With its black Cerakote finish, rocks and road debris can't chip or ding this hitch, so rust doesn't stand a chance. Plus, it comes with a stainless steel double-sided tow ball, so switching sizes is a breeze. Flip it around to stow it.

Towing trailers with different coupler sizes just got easier thanks to the 180 Hitch 2-ball mount. This ball mount features a stainless steel 2" and 2-5/16" hitch ball on opposite ends of the ball mount platform. Switching to the opposite ball is fast and easy - pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank and simply flip over the platform so that either the 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball is on top. Slide it back up along the shank to the desired height and reinsert the dual pins, hitch up, and go! Because both balls are contained on the platform, you won't have to keep track of separate balls that must be completely removed and installed each time you need to switch trailers.
This ball mount's convenient stowable design keeps the ball mount platform out of your way when you're not towing. To stow the ball mount platform, simply pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank. Place the ball mount platform on the backside of the shank facing your vehicle. Reinsert the dual pins to attach the platform to the shank. The 180 Hitch can be used in either the drop or rise position to best suit your application.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Weigh Safe 180 Hitch with 2-ball mount for your two inch trailer hitch receiver. This 180 Hitch is going to slide into your two inch receiver, and it's going to give you a two inch and a 2 5/16 inch double-sided stainless steel tow ball, making switching tow ball sizes very easy for you, so you can tow trailers of different types, whether that's a small utility trailer, a camper, or a boat trailer. This dual functionality is going to eliminate the need for multiple hitches. Now, this is also going to give you, when you have the shank in this orientation, a maximum drop of six inches. And then when you flip this over, you'll get a maximum rise of seven inches with an incremental adjustment of one inch.
So this is going to give you that height adjustability that you need, so you can tow trailers at different heights, all with the same vehicle. Now, with the 2 5/16 inch hitch ball, you're gonna get a gross towing weight of 12,500 pounds. And then with the two inch ball, 8,000 pounds. And the maximum tongue weight is going to be 1,500 pounds. Now, taking a closer look at this hitch, this is constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum, so this is going to give you superior strength and durability.
This black Cerakote finish is a premium finish. It's a ceramic coating that's going to give you an extra layer of corrosion resistance, scratch protection, and durability. Not only does this finish make this hitch look great, but if you tow in harsh environments, such as salty winter roads or extreme weather conditions, this durable finish is going to help protect this hitch, but it's also gonna help keep it looking great on the back of your vehicle and help it to continue to work properly for many years to come. Now, this does feature a dual pin slider lock that's going to make adjusting the height and switching the ball very easily. So I'm just gonna go ahead and take one of the keys here, and go ahead and insert into the lock, give it a turn.
Then that's going to unlock it, allow me to remove this. While I have this removed, I just wanna show you that our dual pins here and our housing is aluminum, and then our lock is plated steel. So this is really gonna hold up well against the elements, you're not gonna have to worry about corrosion. I'm gonna turn that key back to the locked position, and I'm gonna go ahead and remove it. And then, I want you to notice just how easy it is to adjust the height of this ball platform.
This is a very smooth operation. And then I'm just gonna flip this over to the two inch ball just like that. And then let me go ahead and rotate this, and I'm gonna slide that slider lock back in position. So if you remember, I put that in the locked position, I remove the key. I'm gonna line up my holes here. And then if you noticed, all I have to do is push, and then that's going to lock and secure that in place. So you're not going to be at the back of your vehicle struggling to make the adjustment that you need or get the ball size that you need. It's gonna be very smooth. This does include that rubber cover that's going to protect that keyway for that slider lock. And then a really great addition to this setup is going to be this hitch pin lock. And this also has a cap here. You are going to get four keys. Everything is keyed alike, so one key is going to be able to operate both of these locks. So that adds to the convenience of this. But what I wanted to show you is I'm going to turn that key back to the locked position. Go ahead and close our cap. So my head is locked here. And then when I'm ready to lock this back up, all I have to do is push it firmly into place, and we're locked back up. So again, you're not gonna need that key to stay in that lock to lock it. Again, very easy, very convenient, and you'll be ready to go down the road. So let me give you some measurements here in case you're wondering. From the center of the first hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, we're sitting at about 8 1/2 inches. And then from the second hitch pin hole, the center of the second hitch pin hole to the center of our ball, about 9 5/8 inches. And then from the center of our second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, about 1 7/8 inches. This is SAE J684 certified and VESC Regulations V-5 compliant. So if you are looking for a hitch that's going to be a great long-term investment for you that is going to give you versatility, safety, durability, and ease of use, as we saw here together today, this hitch is going to be an excellent option for you to consider. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
Nice hitch, solid. Keys for pin and lock are keyed the same, so thats cool. 10" drop for my 2026 2500hd Silverado. Was probably more then I needed, 8" would have been close.
One thing with the 10" drop. The bottom is about even with the duel ball set up anyway, looks nice when stowed(reversed).
This Cerakote finished W/S hitch is made in the USA and worth the extra cost IMO; recommend getting either the 6in or the 8in Drop for flexibility. 2200lb hitch and 18.5K LB tow rating is plenty for my RAM, 6.7 Cummins, 3/4 ton with 2.5inch receiver. I highly recommend this hitch.
I recently used the Weigh Safe Cerakote Coated 180 Hitch with a 6" drop on a 1,300-mile trip, and it was fantastic. It handled everything—road grime, snow, salt, and mud—without ever looking dull or dingy.
The dual-ball design makes switching between trailers super easy, and the adjustable drop works perfectly to keep everything level. It was simple to install and felt solid and secure the whole trip. The locking pins kept everything safely attached to my truck, no worries about someone walking away with it. If you need a tough, reliable hitch that looks great and gets the job done, this one’s a no-brainer. Highly recommend!
